Branding Inspiration: Workday

Workday combines the precision and vision needed to run global financials with the optimism and flexibility required to handle the humanness of HR.

This refresh strikes a perfect balance: bold yet approachable, innovative yet grounded. The vibrant palette and fluid typography radiate positivity, while the clever design system ensures clarity and versatility across every touchpoint. It's a brand that feels alive and in sync with the dynamic nature of modern workforces. They uncover insights and align on a visual and verbal vision to build idea-driven world-class brands.

It's an organization buzzing with positivity and a real passion for making a difference. A place that prioritizes people while making an impact, challenging norms, and earning trust along the way.

What's truly impressive is that Koto has taken a global SaaS giant and made it feel human. If this isn't design magic, we don't know what is.

Agency Spotlight: Studio Clim

Since 2011, this animation house has been excellently connecting with global audiences. One of their their standout works include, Mr. Porter Holiday Campaign 2023 where Studio Clim partnered with the luxury fashion platform to craft three distinct visual worlds—Luxury, Contemporary, and Trend—for their holiday campaign.

They have also partnered with brands like samsung, amazon, and from elevated branding to seamless digital experiences, Studio Clim's approach is rooted in thoughtful simplicity. No matter how small, every detail feels intentional and proof that restraint in design can often speak louder than extravagance.

Website Feature: ChainZoku

Chainzoku is a multimedia experience that combines gaming, fashion, manga, and storytelling. It's powered by NFTs and was created by Antinomy Studio in the Netherlands.

With its bold visuals, kinetic interactions, and unapologetic energy, this site draws you into a digital playground where innovation meets attitude. Every scroll and hover feels intentional, which proves that the ChainZoku team understands the power of immersive storytelling through design and motion.

Here are some features of Chainzoku:

Scrolly-telling: Chainzoku focuses on interactive scrolly-telling, and the site was designed to allow users to learn more about the project without feeling overwhelmed.

Code optimization: The Chainzoku site was optimized to run smoothly on devices.

What truly stands out is how the website seamlessly blends cutting-edge visuals with functionality. It's not just about looking good (though it does that exceptionally well); it's about creating a lasting connection with its audience. The ChainZoku website proves that great web design is as much about emotion as it is about execution.

Font Find: Pizza Typefaces – Kern

Design Resource Find: Supply Family – Venue Screen Mockups

Graphic designer Krists Darzins and 3D designer Marcis Lokis started Supply Family. And I must say that great design isn't just about what you create; it's about how you present it. Supply Family's Venue Screen Mockups are a game-changer for anyone looking to showcase their work with impact.

These mockups are more than just templates: they're a stage for creativity. Crisp, realistic, and versatile, they allow your designs to shine in real-world contexts, from event branding to digital installations. They're the perfect tool for turning your ideas into polished, professional presentations that clients and audiences will love.

If presentation is everything to you, consider this your secret weapon because they are set to help you find various device/branding mockups, graphic effects templates, and typefaces that will make your designs truly shine while also helping you save valuable time.

Image Inspiration: THE ASH POND by Tom Hegen

This week's final find is our image inspiration: THE ASH POND by Tom Hegen. There's beauty in contrast, and Tom Hegen's The Ash Pond series is a striking reminder. Through his lens, industrial waste transforms into surreal works of art, where toxic byproducts and nature collide in a haunting yet mesmerizing dance.

Aside from the remarkable fact that he is an exceptional and award-winning photographer, each aerial shot feels like a painting, inviting you to reflect on the environmental impact of human activity while marveling at the abstract patterns and textures it leaves behind. Hegen's work isn't just visual: it's deeply thought-provoking, balancing artistry with a powerful message about sustainability and responsibility.

If you're looking for inspiration that stirs awe and introspection, The Ash Pond delivers it in spades.

It’s a wrap!
